Today I learned something very magical and different. I resonated strongly with it when I read it, so I wanted to share it with you.
There is actually a “proper”, or magical, way to decorate your tree. I mean, you can do it however you want. But there is always an option to use is as an opportunity to create a magical ritual with intention. And what woman wouldn’t use a chance to cast some magic? Let’s see how it can be done.
Meaning of a Christmas tree
A Christmas tree is basically an antenna that helps us to connect with the Space above us. Yes, you read it right. There is a deeper meaning to a Christmas tree decorations that comes from centuries and centuries ago from our ancestors that knew this little secret.
Each tree ornament in the shape of a ball is actually a magical ball that contains a wish of a person who puts it on the tree. And tree decoration is a magical ritual that is best performed with a whole family involved. Before you put the ornament ball on your tree, hold it in your palms, close your eyes, focus on this ball and make a wish. Then, imagine how this wish separates from you and enters this ball. Only after this was done, you can put the ornament ball on the tree.
A Few Secrets
Now, there are a few details here. If you wish is about something material, for instance – you want to buy something, or get as a gift, or maybe win a lottery, then you should put that ball closer to the earth, at the bottom of the tree, and further away from the trunk.
If your wish is about something more spiritual or intimate and personal, you should put your ball closer to the top of the tree, closer to the sky, and closer to the trunk.
How many ornament balls can each family member put on a tree this way? If you think of fairy tales with making wishes episodes, there are usually only three allowed. Because the forth one can destroy the first three. So, try to focus only on those three and not dissipate your energy on too many wishes. Just focus as hard as you can on those three most meaningful ones.
How to “Read” Your Tree
There are few magical meanings of a couple things that may happen. If your ornament falls and breaks, that means that you wish cannot come true, at least in the next coming year. It is better to avoid repeating the ritual and putting it back on the tree again. Just make the same wish next year.
Also, your tree can help you to know if your wish can become true easily or not. You should note, that this will only work if you actually have a live tree. If the branch with your ornament ball on it start loosing its needles earlier than other branches, that means there will be some difficulties with your wish coming true. It does not mean it will not happen, but you will have to have some effort to make it work.
A finally, decorations of ribbons or other lengthy garlands also have their meaning. If you actually put them vertically, and not horizontally, you will actually charge your tree even more to make wishes. Because remember, your tree is an antenna, and the connection goes straight up to the Universe 😉
