When we talk about femininity often times we think of a pretty woman, or maybe stylish woman. Woman with good manners, or soft pleasant voice. Maybe woman with jewelry and long beautiful hair. Or woman on heels and with red lipstick. All of these are parts of a whole femininity, the one that can be present on all four levels of our being – physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual.
Let’s take a closer look at all these levels and try to explore how can femininity be manifested on each one of them.
Physical Femininity
Everything that has to do with our body and physical appearance is physical femininity. If we take good care of our skin to make it beautiful and radiant, and our hair to make it healthy and glossy, we are feminine. If we take care of our body to keep it in good shape, strong, flexible and well rounded, we are feminine. We pay attention to clothes we wear everyday, making sure they are clean and pretty. And we have jewelry accentuating our long neck, beautiful fingers and wrists. We have beautiful and comfortable shoes. We are healthy in our female aspect, and our reproductive organs are working fine. The way we speak and the way we walk. All of these speak about femininity on physical level.
Emotional Femininity
Everything that has to do with our emotions and feelings, including relationships, is about emotional femininity. If we live primarily with our heart leading us, and not head, we are feminine, because women are creatures of feelings and intuition. If we are able to love, ourselves and others, and are able to express our feelings, we are feminine. And if we are able to open our hearts, no matter how vulnerable it may feel, we are feminine. If we are able to be thankful, for everything that we have and do not have, we are very feminine. The ability to fully accept our family, friends, and people around us talks about our level of true femininity. And the ability to surrender to whatever comes means we are feminine. The ability to forgive, ourselves and others, talks a lot about our level of femininity.
Intellectual Femininity
Even though women live mainly with feelings, regardless of how hard they try to hide it behind thinking, intellectual femininity is also present and very important. This type of femininity is about our wisdom in all aspects of life. It is when we not only know, but also apply our knowledge in our everyday life. It is when we remember, that for each his own and that there is time for everything. So we know what to say and when to say it, as well as what to do and when to do it. It is also about good manners that show how educated we are and how we know not to behave in a certain way because it may be inappropriate. It is the ability to speak nicely, pleasantly and with elegance, about everything and everyone, no matter the circumstances. We are also intellectually feminine when we like to grow and learn. When we discover and explore our feminine potential, our skills and art of being a woman. And we know that being different from men is okay, and we celebrate it. It is also when we constantly learn the laws of Nature, Universe and life.
Spiritual Femininity
We are spiritually feminine when we know how to stay connected to the Divine, in whatever form and shape: praying, meditating, love making, walking. When we are being guided by our intuition, knowing that we are guided by something bigger than us. We trust in this guidance and allow it to take its course, even though sometimes we may not always understand it. When we are spiritually feminine, we stay grateful to these forces that are higher and bigger than us because we remember that they also protect us, sometimes from ourselves. Spiritual femininity is also about the ability to awaken Kundalini, a serpent-like energy at the base of our spine. This energy can be applied to our own spiritual growth and to our feminine health. It is the ability to awaken our inner Goddess, Priestess, or Divine Feminine Self that has always been there from the beginning of times.
If these four levels of femininity can be combined, that is when the true feminine self will appear. Doing only one or another will not make us feminine. It will not make us woman that has fulfilled her full potential. And why to do it all? In living holistically feminine, we will allow ourselves and everyone around us become who we truly are – divine creatures, fully capable of everything, filled with love, power, wisdom. We will constantly inspire others to do the same. And we will inspire men to be more masculine and to be our true soul mates. We will be best versions of our feminine selves and will motivate others to be the same.
Stay lovely and blissful ♥♥♥
