Vedic astrology has a few tips on how to make our life a little bit better. It is different from Western astrology so it has a different perspective on things. Nevertheless, here they are.
Tips from Vedic Astrology
♥ Any beginnings are better to start during the waxing moon. And any endings or cleansing are better on waning moon. Every herbalist knows that if they pick herbs closer to the Full Moon, they will be more potent in their qualities.
♥ If there is a long trip you are planning, it is better to start it on Friday. For a short trip, Monday is the perfect first day of the trip.
♥ Don’t start any important business on Saturday or Tuesday. Also, these are the worst days for weddings and the beginning of the new business. The reason for that is because Saturday is the day of Saturn, a planet that governs and represents slowness, difficulties and heavy karma. Those days are ideal for meditation, for staying alone with yourself and for fasting. It is a good time for fasting for a cause, which means you direct all the goodness from your fast to something that needs some energy. You will release the energy by taming your free will and refusing to do something on purpose. One of the examples would be to have a complete dry fast, or to stay in silence all day.
♥ Full Moon is a good time for anything mundane and simple. However, one should be careful during that time because the Moon affects a lot of people which causes all kinds of accidents everywhere.
♥ Last day of the Waning moon is the perfect day for a very deep meditation and meditative practices.
♥ Any eclipses are usually the worst days for any new beginnings or continuations of older business. This is the best time to stay alone too and practice something spiritual, or just do some good rituals for wishes to come true. Vedic astrology advises strongly against watching eclipses outside, sleeping outside or just being outside under the eclipsed Sun.
♥ If you feel like your life has become a real burden, you feel down or exhausted, and like there is no way out, you work too much and give too much, and receive nothing in return, it may mean that Saturn influences you negatively now. It can be corrected, from the Vedic perspective, by correcting Saturn’s influence. To do that, you can take a fast from something on Saturdays, whether it is from food or electronics. And make sure to announce it loudly to the Universe: “I am taking this fast for the whole day today to improve my life situation”. When you are done with the fasting, repeat it again: “All the goodness of this fast will now go to the resolution of my life difficulties (you can be more specific here and name them)”.
The “Most” Times
There are a few times where you need to do some easy calculations, but they absolutely worth it. Here they are.
♦ The most auspicious aka best time to begin anything during the day is Abhijit Muhurat. Basically, this is an astrological middle part of the day. It is easy to calculate it if you know the time of the sunrise and sunset. Count the amount of hours in between them both, divide it by two. Now, take this amount and add it to the time of the sunrise. You will get your Abhijit Muhurat, and can begin all your successful business.
♦ The most auspicious aka best time of the year is Akshaya Tritiya. You can Google it. Or calculate when the Sun and the Moon are simultaneously exalted. This usually happens in the middle of spring, when the Sun is in Aries, and the Moon is in Taurus.
♦ The most auspicious aka best time of the day for anything spiritual is called Brahma Muhurta. It lasts for about 48 minutes before the sunrise. You can also Google it, or calculate that time before the time of the sunrise. This is the best time for any meditation, prayers or studying of holy scripts, yoga manuscripts, and any other spiritual work.
♦ The least auspicious aka the worst time for anything (besides eclipses) is called Surya Sankranti. This time comes when Sun goes from one zodiac sign to another, that moment of change. It usually happens in the middle of the month. But I also suggest you to Google it.
I hope you stay wise and happy, darlings!
